Adrian Township (except those in the Tecumseh Public Schools district).The library lists these areas of the county as part of its district: The Lenawee District Library serves people who are not already served by one of these libraries: the Adrian District Library, the Schultz-Holmes Memorial Library in Blissfield, the Clinton Township Public Library, the Hudson Carnegie District Library, the Stair District Library in Morenci or the Tecumseh District Library. The owner of property with a taxable value of $100,000 would pay $59.98 each year toward the library's operations. The millage, 0.5998 mill, is expected to raise $1,283,000 in 2023 if it is approved, according to the proposal. The library is seeking renewal of its operating millage for 10 years, through 2032. Voters served by the Lenawee District Library and in Woodstock Township are being asked to renew millages on the Aug.
